Walk-In Service Outside Sales
Have a small garden project or want to add some seasonal color to a space or plant a new street tree in the greenway? Visit Ray Wiegand’s Nursery anytime and tour our 20 acre facility with one of our knowledgeable staff members who can assist you free of charge with advice and plant recommendations. This is a great option for the do-it-yourself gardener with a few simple landscaping questions. This service has no fee, however help is subject to staff availability. Long wait times could occur during peak season and weekends.
Quick Sketch Design Consultation
This service is best suited for customers who have a small project that requires a more focused sit down consultation with one of our nursery professionals. During this one-time 1 hour session at Ray Wiegand’s Nursery a small not-to-scale sketch will be generated with plant recommendations to help you accomplish your landscaping project. We ask you to provide site conditions, measurements and pictures.
Hand Drawn Sketch – $60.00 for 1 hour. By appointment only. Book Online.

Complete Landscape Design Package
Have a new home or want to renovate an old home? Our Complete Landscape Design Package is best suited for customers who would like to do substantial landscaping to one or more areas of their property. You, the customer, will provide the measurements and photos for the designer to create a complete design package customized for you. This package includes two personalized consultations at our Ray Wiegand’s Landscape Design Center. An initial consultation to discuss existing site conditions, ideas, plants, budgets, etc. A final consultation to review your custom, computer generated design, estimate for planting and delivery, plus tour the Garden Center to view/tag available stock first hand. Lead time can vary between 2-3 weeks depending on the season. Be sure to fill out the Design Consultation Checklist to help make the most of your time with the designer.
Design Fees are based on the size and complexity of the project.
Fees start at $125.00, up to $500.00 Example: Front yard design of typical sub lot (70’ x 120’) – $200. By appointment only. Online booking not available, must call or schedule in-person.
Garden Coach Session
Do you have questions about your landscaping or want to know what plants you have and how to take care of them? Our garden coach sessions can help you achieve success in the planning, establishment, and maintenance of your garden. Our designer will walk your property providing you a hands on experience to give you the confidence you need to tackle all your outdoor projects. This session can help you with identifying plants, pruning guidance and recommendations, pest and disease diagnosis, design concepts and plant lists. You will want to take notes during this consultation or for an additional fee you can receive a customized follow-up email with plant lists and notes.
Fee – $125.00 per/hour This 1 hour consultation begins when we arrive at your home. An additional $25.00 charge will occur for locations outside a 15 mile radius from the Garden Center. By appointment only. Online booking not available, must call or schedule in-person.
At-Home Deluxe Landscape Design Package
This package begins with a site visit at your home. It is best suited for customers who would like to do substantial landscaping to one or more areas of their property. Initial consultation takes place directly at your home where you will walk the site and discuss existing site conditions, ideas, plants, budgets, etc. Our designer will take the necessary measurements and photos, which will be used to create your custom design. Once the design is complete, a final consultation will be set up at Ray Wiegand’s for review. A computer generated design drawn to scale, showing all plants and quantities, an estimate for labor and materials, along with a guided tour of the Garden Center to view/tag available stock are all included within this deluxe package. Lead time can vary between 2-3 weeks depending on the season. Be sure to fill out the Design Consultation Checklist to help you make the most of your time with the designer.

Plant Maintenance Guidelines – What to do and when. Receive a cheat sheet containing pruning, fertilizing and basic care of all your plant material.
Image Edit – Have a photo of your house and want to see what plants would look like in front of it? Bring in a photo and have our designer edit the image to create a visual design to help you gain a better perspective of your future landscape.
