Butterfly House Opening Day – June 14th, 2025

Summer Hours: TUESDAY through SATURDAY from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and
SUNDAY from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. *Weather Permitting

Bring the entire family in to learn and discover at our permanent, Michigan Native Butterfly House!

Enjoy witnessing all stages of the butterfly lifecycle. Learn what each butterfly species prefers for nectar and host plants, while hunting for their EGGS, CATERPILLARS AND CHRYSALIS. The Butterfly House staff will be nearby to provide interesting insight and fun facts.

LOCATED IN THE DISPLAY GARDENS

Please NOTE: Due to space restrictions, strollers are prohibited in the Butterfly House.
